Summary
Contribution to the fauna of arthropods of the sphagnum-dominated bogs Kellsee and Himmelreichsee
(Germany; federal state of Brandenburg). - (Coleoptera, Heteroptera, Auchenorrhyncha, Hymenoptera part.,
Odonata, Diptera part., Araneae, Opiliones, Pseudoscorpiones, Diplopoda, Chilopoda etc.)
Two oligotroph sphagnum-dominated bogs in the eastern part of Germany were investigated. The paper
presents 516 species of arthropods that were identified using pitfall traps a.o.; additionally 35
species of dragonflies were included (source: R. Mauersberger, databank). The study determines the
endangerment and dispersion of the species.
Two species were recorded for the first time in Brandenburg: Agramma femorale THOMSON 1871 and
Stenus oscillator RYE 1870, one species was rediscovered: Agramma laetum (FALLEN 1807).
- 67 species that are typical for sphagnum-dominated bogs were detected; of these, at least 21
species are critically endangered (CR) or endangered (EN): Coleoptera: Dytiscus lapponicus GYLLENHAL
1808, Hydroporus gyllenhali SCHIODTE 1841, Acylophorus wagenschieberi KIESENWETTER 1850,
Atanygnathus terminalis (ERICHSON 1839), Platydracus fulvipes (SCOPOLI 1763), Stenus kiesenwetteri
ROSENHAUER 1856, Stenus oscillator RYE 1870. Trichoptera: Oxyethira distictella MCLACHLAN 1880,
Oxyethira sagittifera RIS 1897. Heteroptera: Agramma femorale THOMSON 1871, Pachybrachius luridus
HAHN 1826. Odonata: Aeshna subarctica WALKER 1908, Leucorrhinia albifrons (BURMEISTER 1839). Araneae:
Argyroneta aquatica (CLERCK 1757), Carorita limnaea (CROSBY & BISHOP 1927), Drepanotylus uncatus
(O.P.-CAMBRIDGE 1873), Glyphesis cottonae (LATOUCHE 1945), Oryphantes angulatus (O. P.-CAMBRIDGE
1881), Pardosa sphagnicola (DAHL 1908), Walckenaeria nodosa O.P.-CAMBRIDGE 1873 und
Theonoe minutissima (O.P.-CAMBRIDGE 1879).
