Summary
Contribution to the knowledge of spiders and harvestmen of Berlin and Brandenburg
First records of the spider species Agyneta equestris (L. KOCH, 1881), Carniella brignolii THALER & STEINBERGER 1988,
Carrhotus xanthogramma (LATREILLE, 1819), Emblyna brevidens (KULCZYNSKI, 1897), Kratochviliella bicapitata MILLER, 1938,
Mecopisthes silus (O. P.-CAM-BRIDGE, 1872), Nusoncus nasutus (SCHENKEL, 1925), Oedignatha scrobiculata THORELL, 1881,
Opopaea deserticola Simon, 1891, Palliduphantes ericaeus (BLACKWALL, 1853), Philodromus buxi SIMON, 1884 and
Prinerigone vagans (AUDOUIN, 1826) for Brandenburg, as well as first records of the harvestman Nemastoma dentigerum
CANESTRINI, 1873 and the spider species Brignolia cobre PLATNICK et al. 2011 and Hahnia helveola SIMON, 1875
for Berlin are reported. Collinsia inerrans (O. P.-CAMBRIDGE, 1885) and Ischnothyreus velox JACKSON, 1908 were recorded
for the first time in Brandenburg and Berlin. Agyneta arietans (O. P.-CAMBRIDGE, 1872) was rediscovered in Brandenburg.
Additional records of several rare species for Brandenburg are given. The specimens of Brignolia cobre,
Oedignatha scrobiculata and Opopaea deserticola from hothouses in Berlin and Brandenburg are the first records
of these introduced spiders in Europe. The record of Mansuphantes arciger (KULCZYNSKI, 1882) in Brandenburg was
based on a misidentification. The species should be removed from the checklist.
