Summary
A contribution to the Lepidoptera fauna of the nature reserve and fauna-flora habitat area "Unteres Schlaubetal"
in the district Oder-Spree/Brandenburg (Lepidoptera)
The subprotection process and the natural space equipment of the Lower Schlaubetal are outlined.
Since 1974, the author has examinated the Lepidoptera fauna using various observation methods.
In total, as the result of more than 190 excursions in the area 510 "Macrolepidoptera" and
107 "Microlepidoptera" species (sensu SEITZ) have been noticed, altogether 617 species,
including 98 red list species of Brandenburg.
Athetis lepigone (MÖSCHLER, 1860) (Noctuidae) is recorded for the first time in Brandenburg.
Especially noteworthy are the records of Ptilocephala plumifera (OCHSENHEIMER, 1810),
Chaemaesphecia leucopsiformis (ESPER, 1800), Cupido argiades (PALLAS, 1771),
Melitaea diamina (LANG, 1798) and Acronicta menyanthidis (ESPER, 1789) (category 1),
Zygaena trifolii (ESPER, 1783), Boloria selene (DENIS & SCHIFFERMÜLLER, 1775),
Boloria dia (LINNAEUS, 1767), Argynnis aglaia (LINNAEUS, 1758), Argynnis adippe (DENIS & SCHIFFER-MÜLLER, 1775),
Coenonympha arcania (LINNAEUS, 1761), Siona lineata (SCOPOLI, 1763), Idaea corrivalaria (KRETSCHMAR, 1862),
Lythria purpuraria (LINNAEUS, 1758), Eupithecia inturbata (HÜBNER, 1817), Eupithecia extraversaria HERRICH-SCHÄFFER,
1852, Conistra ligula (ESPER, 1791), Aporophila nigra (HAWORTH, 1809), Archanara dissoluta (TREITSCHKE, 1825),
Lacanobia aliena (HÜBNER, 1809), Eilema sororcula (HUFNAGEL, 1766) (category 2) and
Lithophane semibrunnea (HAWORTH, 1809) (Category R).
Furthermore, the occurrence of another endangered Buckleria paludum (ZELLER, 1839), characteristic species of the
oligotrophic/mesotrophic peat bogs is reported. The records of 150 species of the area, including all species of red list,
are discussed and their distribution in the region and the country Brandenburg, especially Eastern Brandenburg is outlined.
